The Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) is listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange's (NSE) Restricted Sub Segment of the main investment market. It is a closed-ended fund; investors can only buy its securities in the secondary market.
LAPTRUST IMARA I-REIT is structured as a common law unincorporated trust divided into REIT Securities and is established through a Trust Deed. It was authorized by the Capital Markets Authority on November 1, 2022 with a total of 346,231,413 authorized and issued shares.
The REIT was listed on the NSE on March 22, 2023 at KES 20.00 per Unit and trades as "LAPR".
